Online Workshop: Winter Arts Adventure

Join us for an interactive acting and drawing workshop for young creative folk ages 10 to 16.

November 27, 2021

9am PDT - 12pm EDT - 5pm GMT

Bring your imagination and your creativity to this unique, one-of-a-kind presentation featuring dyslexic actor and audiobook narrator Linda McDade, and author and illustrator Kaja Blackley. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled workshop where you will get a taste of their artistic talents and a bundle of inspiration to pursue your own path in the creative arts.

Bonus! Enter the cool illustration competition for a chance to win one of two signed hard cover editions (one for Scotland, one for Canada) of Kaja’s young adult fantasy novel, Maggie MacCormack and the Witches’ Wheel, six e-books (three for each country) and six audiobooks (three for each country).

Participants will have the opportunity to have their work displayed on our websites and social media, they will get to meet young people with dyslexia of a similar age from Canada and Scotland and if joining from Scotland, they'll also be able to gain an Arts Award!

If you have any questions, please contact Anna (Dyslexia Canada) at comms@dyslexiacanada.org or Lena (Dyslexia Scotland) at lena@dyslexiascotland.org.uk
