Structured Literacy Strategies to Help Kids in Grades 4-12

Students in grades 4-12 do not have it easy.  Even Tier one students in this age range are dealing with significant pauses in learning the last three years have created. Our students in Tiers 2 and 3 have an even larger gap to close.

This webinar will give educators working with youth in grades 4-12 tools and intervention strategies grounded in structured literacy, to support struggling readers. Our goal is to provide real-time examples of how educators can address word reading, fluency, and comprehension building in full classroom scenarios.  And if there is a roadblock, what to do next.

This webinar will include resources curated by experts in the field and also our own training strategies and successes working with and supporting teachers as they support their students. Recently Halifax Learning is participating in a pilot with CCRCE in Nova Scotia and training teacher pairs - targeting grades 6-9 with a MTSS lens.  We believe educators across Canada will be interested to hear more about this pilot.

You will be asked to register when you login to the webinar. This webinar will take place on Zoom and will be recorded. Please click the link below at the start of the webinar.
